Fashion has even the power to desecrate a garment like Kefiah . In any market if they see with bright colors, along with common scarves. Yet Kefiah is the symbol of solidarity with the Palestinian people. Who wears it (although you may not know it) expresses its anti-Semitism, its condemnation of all discrimination, it is the symbol of the struggle for national liberation and independence of the Arab people. Trends and tastes have meant that the West will introduce one Kefiah that departs from its original ideology. scarves are sold in markets similar to the famous Arab leader but colors completely other than the Islamic world (even purple, yellow, blue). Recall that there are 3 types of Kefieh, related to sympathy and political alignments:
- White-Black : commonly accepted as a symbol of the Palestinian Authority, is associated to ' PLO and Fatah al- , socialist movements. He used to put it on the head Yaser Arafat ΚΏ, nobel prize for peace.
- White-Red : was adopted by Marxist Palestinian movements, such as the PFLP.
- White-Green : to associate with most of the environmentalist movement. The latter may be used by the followers of Hamas (even though Wikipedia contradicts me).
What is important at the bottom are not the colors, because the inner meaning is what Kefiah is generically a universal symbol of Palestine.
Another thing to note is these "pseudofascistelli" who have come to believe that it is a symbol Kefiah a communist background. It is not, in any way. It 'also known that these "people", far from having a brain that will encourage them to seek the true meaning, are generally known for not understanding ..... nothing.
